WHAT'S AN ON-DEMAND OBM?
Imagine having a planning and operations pro who understands you and your business on speed dial, whenever you need help.
An OBM is an Online Business Manager, a PM is a Project Manager, and a VA is a virtual assistant.
In general, expect an OBM to be focused on developing action plans and designing/implementing processes to execute those plans (for example, the person developing a data entry system) and a VA to be more involved in the day-to-day work (the person doing the actual data entry).
A PM can fall somewhere in between - organizing the data entry project team, delegating tasks, and handling some tasks themselves. This is how I tend to think of myself.
I really don't care what you call me. I'll answer to anything: online business manager, project manager, systems strategist, integrator, Samantha, Sam (and, once, right after my mom had surgery: "whatsherface").
I'm great at creating action plans, organizing tasks and information, simplifying, visualizing, and troubleshooting anything, and implementing the right tools to make your life easier.
When we work together, my focus is always leveraging what I'm great at to help you do more of what you're great at.
Recovering lawyer, ex-wedding planner, one-time real estate sales support specialist, former podcast host, tshirt maker, and failed tech cofounder turned virtual assistant to c-suite execs. Since 2017, I've been a project + business manager for other small business owners.
If you're also the type to nerd out over this stuff: I’m an INFJ 6w5 projector (restorative, strategic, activator on Strengthsfinder). I’m not saying I was literally built for this... but I’m not not saying it.
I'm probably having deep, philosophical discussions with my husband, Pat, about why are these dogs so cute?! (We're those dog people.)
We moved just north of Detroit after six years in Chicago - two of our favorite places and styles of pizza in the entire world. We binge watch... everything, order pizza every single Sunday, and Pat runs a lot of marathons. I paint, buy house plants, watch The West Wing on a constant loop, and do not run marathons.

Like them or not, you've already got workflows; whether they're intentional, consistent, efficient, and easily repeatable is another story. I'll help you streamline processes, define your boundaries, and choose automation tools that fit your goals + budget.
Remember: apps aren't systems. Automation + boundaries = systems. Without a clear vision for how you want your business to run and strong boundaries to support that vision, you'll end up paying for slightly-less-manual versions of the exact same struggles you're having right now.
Whether you've been in business for 20 minutes or 20 years, you deserve options to get support that match your goals and your budget. Not everyone needs (or wants!) a business manager or VA on retainer.
I designed my services to give you options that meet you where you are right now. You can do it yourself with step-by-step resources from the shop, get 1:1 help one session at a time, or hire me to take a project totally off your hands.
The choice is yours - like it should be.
